HFO Brokers $49.5 Million Sale of Bend Multifamily Community

PORTLAND, Ore., August 8, 2022 – Portland-based commercial real estate brokerage firm HFO Investment Real Estate (HFO) is pleased to have represented the seller in the sale of the 168-unit Sienna Pointe Apartments in Bend, Ore. for $49,500,000.

The class B low-density asset was built in 1991 and has recently been extensively updated. These renovations and the property’s location just blocks from St. Charles Medical Center — the largest provider of medical care in central Oregon — make Sienna Pointe Apartments an attractive investment in a market where apartment properties are rarely traded.

HFO partner Rob Marton represented the seller, Bend Housing, LLC, in the sale to buyer Security Properties.

“Sienna Pointe is a great investment opportunity to add value at an already desirable and well-maintained asset,” said Rob Marton. “We are proud to have been involved in the successful sale of another high-quality asset in the strong Bend market.”

HFO previously brokered the sale of the property in 2016 for $23.75 million or $141,369 per unit, which set the record for the highest per-unit sale price in the city at that time.

The transaction is HFO’s 32nd this year and brings the firm’s total sale value in 2022 to more than $311 million.
