HFO-TV: Interview with Dr. Gerard Mildner, PSU Center for Real Estate

Dr. Gerard Mildner of Portland State University offers an update of things happening in the school’s center for real estate and shares his thoughts on the upcoming City of Portland Renter Screening laws. With recent changes in landlord/tenant laws, it may be increasingly difficult to evict a tenant that is causing problems for an entire community. In addition, the opportunity to significantly upgrade or rehabilitate dilapidated properties may be limited by the state’s recent enactment of rent control.
