San Diego Apartment Investor Scoops up two Gresham Properties for $60.8M [6/26/26]
The Portland Business Journal reported that San Diego-based MG Properties has acquired two Gresham apartment communities totaling 337 units for $60.8 million, with HFO Investment Real Estate’s Tyler Johnson and Cody Hagerman representing the parties. MG Properties paid $18.8 million for the Mountain High Apartments and $42 million for the Parkside Apartments. Fannie Mae provided financing for the acquisition, secured by Walker & Dunlop.
Reporter Sara Edwards frames the transaction as further evidence that private capital is returning to Portland’s suburban multifamily market, with out-of-state investors continuing to target value-add opportunities in the region.
