Aaron Kirk Douglas is a multifaceted storyteller and market analyst. His career spans journalism, creative nonfiction, filmmaking, and real estate research. He serves as Director of Market Intelligence at HFO Investment Real Estate/GREA, the Pacific Northwest’s leading multifamily brokerage. There, he produces the long-running Multifamily Marketwatch® research series. This series tracks policy, economics, and development trends across Oregon and Washington. Known for distilling complex data into compelling narratives, he informs apartment investors, developers, and owners as they navigate the rapidly evolving West Coast housing landscape.

Aaron is also the author of Growing Up Twice: Shaping a Future by Reliving My Past, an award-winning memoir exploring mentorship, identity, and the emotional terrain of raising someone else’s child. The book draws from his years mentoring three brothers through Big Brothers Big Sisters. This journey earned him national recognition. It included a nomination for National Big Brother of the Year and the Multnomah County Hilltop Award for Volunteerism.
