Brokers, like other professionals who advise on personal financial matters, may now be required by federal law (the "Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act") to inform their clients of their policies regarding privacy of client information. We have always protected our clients' right to privacy, and we will continue to do so.

In the course of providing our clients with real estate brokerage services, we receive significant personal financial information from our clients. If you are a client of HFO, you should know that all information we receive from you is held in confidence and is not released to people outside our company, except as agreed to by you or as required under an applicable law.

We retain records relating to the professional services we provide so that we can better assist you with your professional needs and comply with professional guidelines. In order to guard your nonpublic personal information, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with our professional standards.

There are times when we may need to collect information from you through our Web site. This generally involves filling out a form so that you can download something from the site.

What we do with the information we gather and track:

Your IP address is a number that is used by computers on the network to identify your computer so that data (such as the Web pages you request) can be sent to you. IP addresses are automatically gathered by our Web server. HFO will not use your IP address to attempt to identify your personal information.
